Justin Timberlake Teases Upcoming Project With NSYNC Following Reunion

You didn’t think the iconic NSYNC reunion would end with just a single for an animated franchise, did you? And anyway, this animated franchise, “Trolls Band Together” by all means, kinda sorta teased an even bigger reunion from the band than we dared to expect. Doubt me, go watch the movie. Anywho, the guys have been in the studio.

Justin Timberlake Reveals He’s Been In the Studio With His *NSYNC Band Members

It’s been years – over two decades – since NSYNC went their separate ways and the boys started pursuing solo careers. Last year they reunited and released their first ever single since 2001’s “Celebrity.” Better Place” was recorded for the animated franchise “Trolls.”

Since their reunion has been a long time in the making, it feels weird that they’ll just leave if off with that single. I mean, fans need a proper NSYNC song, now don’t they?

In the heat of promoting his single, “Selfish,” and of course generating buzz for his upcoming sixth solo studio album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” Timberlake teased a massively exciting news.

Remember when the members of NSYNC reunited at 2023’s MTV Video Music Awards in September to present the best pop award? Yes, that one that eventually went to Taylor Swift? It seems it’s just the start of a proper reunion.

“That was fun,” said Timberlake of reuniting. “It’s kind of crazy, like, there’s so much that just picks up right where it left off as far as the chemistry.”

Even though the band disbanded less than a decade after their formation in 1995, Timberlake credits it for setting up his musical taste and direction.

“Growing up in the industry and getting access to so much in the studio, I just became like a studio rat,” Timberlake said. “I just loved being in there, and I loved the creative process. And also, as it pertains to harmonies, I spent some time with four other guys doing a lot of harmonies.”

However, even though fans are craving for a reunion tour or a one-off performance at least – if No Doubt can do it, NSYNC certainly can – nothing’s been decided yet.

“People are obviously yelling and screaming for a tour, but there’s a lot of things that come into play before that could happen,” Timberlake’s former band mate Fatone said. “There’s five guys — some of us are married, some have kids, some may not want to do it. We have to have that conversation and talk about what we do now that the song is out there.”
