The 60-minute weekly sessions featured some of Hollywood’s elite. Every attendee is asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This ensured they would keep all of the details to themselves. The secrecy that surrounded these events had fans wonder if Ye was starting his cult.

Kim described it as a “healing experience” that was less focused on “preaching” and more about the “music.” Kanye used the advertising money for Yeezy to afford the costs of the event.

He reportedly wants to open his Donda Academy in the church building. The Christian school was riddled with lawsuits.

Kanye’s former employees accused him of bizarre practices, similar to a cult. He allegedly forbade the students from having classes on the second floor because of his fear of stairs.

Also, they were only allowed to eat sushi for launch. Kanye expressed interest in the space after attending services at the church.

They quietly agreed to sell him the property after they publicly denied they would because of his anti-semitic rants.
