Kanye West Called A LIAR For Failing To Drop Vultures 2 Album

Once again, Kanye West has failed to fulfill his promise concerning the release date of his “Vultures” album. Since last year, the “Graduation” rapper’s eleventh consecutive album release date was moved up multiple times before it was finally split into three parts. At first, it was initially scheduled to be released on December 15, 2023.

Later on, Apple Music announced that the new release date would be on Christmas Eve December 31, 2023, but was moved the following year to January 12, 2024.

In February 2024, Kanye announced that the album will come in Volumes 1-3, and that volume 1 of the anticipated album will be released on February 9, 2024.

Not just that, he also shared that its Volume 2 will be released on March 8, and Volume 3 will follow on April 5.

Fans Brand Kanye West A LIAR For Failing To Drop Vultures 2 Album

However, instead of February 9, Volume 1 was released the following day, February 10. Despite the late release, the songs in the album went on to top Billboard 200 chart making fans of the rapper to be on the lookout for Volume 2. On Friday, March 8, there was no sign of Volume 2 being released so, a fan account took the liberty to contact Kanye to ascertain whether it’ll still be released.

The fan account “Ye Fanatics’” exchange with the rapper reads: “Hi Ye. Will Vultures 2 be available today?” to which Kanye replied, “We in the lab.” The response didn’t sit well with his fans who seem to think they’re back to square one. They took to X formerly known as Twitter to call Kanye out for lying about the release date.

One person wrote, “Kanye fans really thought he was dropping vultures 2 tonight after he delayed the last project 3+ times y’all are STUPID,” a second added, “Kanye needa hurry up and drop vultures 2 & 3 cuz this is insane,” and a frustrated third ranted, “HE LIED AGAIN I AM DONE,” a fourth wrote, “Kanye wasn’t ever going to release Vultures 2 tonight and if you think he was you’re delusional.”

Kanye West — On Kanye’s Bitter Laments

The callouts came after it was revealed that Kanye West and his “Vulture” collaborator TY Dolla $ign were denied access to stadiums and event centers overseas ranging from Europe, Asia, Millan, Madrid, Berlin, Cologne, and Munich, the Middle East, etc., the “Donda” rapper couldn’t help but complain bitterly that people are no longer interested in paying for “High-quality music.”

On Sunday, the 46-year-old took to Instagram to repost several tweets from one of his regular collaborators James Blake who first laid complaints on the X platform (formerly Twitter) about musicians not getting the worth of their music after making and releasing great songs.

One of James’ tweets read, “Something I keep seeing is ‘if you’re lucky enough to go viral, just use the exposure to generate income some other way.’ Musicians should be able to generate income via their music. Do you want good music or do you want what you paid for?”

The “Assume Form” artist went on to make another tweet saying, “If we want quality music somebody is gonna have to pay for it. Streaming services don’t pay properly, labels want a bigger cut than ever and just sit and wait for you to go viral, TikTok doesn’t pay properly, and touring is getting prohibitively expensive for most artists.”

The “Graduation” rapper also went to his wife Bianca Censori’s hometown in Australia to seek a place to perform his newly released album “Vulture” but the result was the same with other places. After trying out several places and getting “No” for an answer, he and TY Dolla $ign both reposted James’ tweets as a form of protest.
