Kanye West recently got released from Twitter jail after shocking with his anti-Semitic remarks. And so the rapper/fashion designer promptly returned to posting controversial comments. For instance, Kanye announced that he disowned his previous bipolar diagnosis.
But West also baffled some of his followers. And the confusion occurred when Kanye decided to announce his own version of a 30-day fast. Get all the details below.
Kanye West – Refuses Bipolar Diagnosis, Explains Theory
For years, reports described Kanye West as having received a bipolar disorder diagnosis in 2016. But now the rapper claims that he disagrees with the diagnosis. And West explained why, noted Page Six.
After returning to Twitter in the wake of his ban, Kanye claimed that he suffered from getting “mentally misdiagnosed.” And West shared a text change with his former personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, as part of his post about the diagnosis. “What should be obvious by now is that I was raised to stand for my truth regardless of the consequences,” wrote Kanye.
“So I will say this again I was mentally misdiagnosed and nearly drugged out of my mind to make me a manageable well behaved celebrity.” However, Harley asked West to get involved in a “loving, open conversation” that consisted of the facts about Kanye’s anti-Semitic comments. But then Pasternak seemed to issue a warning.
And he wrote, “Second option, I have you institutionalized again where they medicate the cr*p out of you, and you go back to Zombieland forever. Play date with the kids just won’t be the same.” Pasternak allegedly called the police about West in 2016. And the rapper ended up in a hospital for what got described as “erratic” behavior.
Kanye West – Vows To Start His Own Version Of A 30-Day Fast
Celebrities often go on fasts or cleanses. But Kanye doesn’t intend to go on a typical celeb fast such as giving up sugar for a month. And instead, West announced that he plans his own version of a fast.
In his Twitter announcement, the 45-year-old shared, “I’m taking a 30 day cleanse. A verbal fast. No alcohol. No adult films.” And in addition, Kanye announced that he will refrain from sex for 30 days.
“In God we praise. Amen,” tweeted West at his conclusion. “But my Twitter still lit.” However, Kanye subsequently used a racist phrase, and Twitter removed it, according to Forbes.
Elon Musk, Twitter’s new owner, has shared that he puts the blame on activists for a drop in revenue. And he blamed those activist groups for attempting to reign in free speech. However, Musk added that he did not try to change Twitter’s current guidelines about moderating content.
