As a result, some expressed concern that West needed help. And a recent report seemed to confirm that the rapper had given in and planned to head off for treatment.

But now a rep for Kanye has spoken out. And that spokesperson paints a very different portrait of West’s plans for the future. As a result, some now suspect that the Kardashian family tried to offer a false narrative about Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband. Learn more below.

Host of the Hollywood Unlocked interview featuring Kanye, Jason Lee slammed reports claiming West thinks he needs help. And Lee went even further. For instance, speaking for Kanye, Jason denied rumors that West would distance himself from Kim and their children.

“Ye monitors all headlines pertaining to him and his family daily. Most all are being fed to media by ‘sources close to the Kardashians,'” stated Jason. And the rep also called out those sources for “creating a false narrative.”

In addition, Kanye’s spokesman described the reports as fake and even hurting “his goal of creating a healthy environment for the beautiful children he shares with Kim.” As a result of that goal, West stays “focused on taking care of himself, being a present and loving father and a creative genius,” added Lee. And the rep asked fans to ignore all those “false headlines. If you don’t hear it from his mouth, read it from his social media, or get it from a press release he approved, it’s simply false.”

Kanye West – Never Promised To Go Away To Get Better, Says Insider

In that previous report, a Kardashian family insider claimed that Kanye West promised Kim Kardashian he wanted to become a better man. And the supposed insider also described West as wanting to get help. As evidence, the source even claimed that Ye vowed to stop making public appearances and offensive social media comments.

“For the sake of the kids, Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements,” stated the Kardashian family insider. In addition, the source described West as desiring to quietly step away from public scrutiny. “And he will go away somewhere to get better,” added the supposed insider.
