Kanye West – Pens New Song To Fire Up Custody Wars!
Rapping his own reality! Kanye West described his feelings that his four children get “borrowed” in a new song. And the lyrics for that song, called “True Love,” focused on his side of his custody war with estranged wife Kim Kardashian, noted Page Six.
For instance, the first verse reflects on the give and take scenario involved in shared custody. In it, Kanye explains that when he picks up North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, he feels like he must negotiate a complicated schedule. As a result, he struggles emotionally.

“Wait, when you see the kids? I’ll see y’all tomorrow,” raps Ye. “Wait, when the sunset? I see y’all tomorrow. Wait, when I pick ‘em up, I feel like they borrowed,” he croons. And the song continues, “When I gotta return them, scan ‘em like a bar code/ Wait, no hard feelings,” adds the rapper. “But these feelings hard though. Wait, who got the kids in those ‘What are those?'”
Kanye West – Gets Response From Kim Kardashian!
Kim Kardashian’s use of nannies also came into play in the rap song. For example, Kanye rapped, “I only see three kids, who watchin’ Chicago? And you know all the nannies said, ‘Daddy in Nebraska.’ Let the kids dig a tunnel to my house like Chapo.”
However, Kim has used the family’s reality TV show, “The Kardashians,” to react to her estranged husband’s use of his musical skills to battle custody. For instance, she described herself as prepared for Ye to “talk mad s-t” on a recent episode of the show. But Kardashian also expressed frustration.
Because she gets no warning before West releases a new song, she can only react rather than behave proactively. And Kim even apologized to her family on camera. “All I can do is control how I react to something,” pointed out Kardashian. “I can’t control how he treats me or how he’s always treated you guys.” And she added, “I do recognize the impact that my relationship has had on my family and that I’ve never had the opportunity to just say, ‘I’m sorry, guys.’”
