Kanye West Gets Slammed With New Lawsuit Claiming He Threatened To ‘Lock Up Students In Cages’

The “Graduation” rapper Kanye West is currently facing a new lawsuit filed against him by his former employer Trevor Philips.

The lawsuit contains the unlawful treatments meted out to both staff and students of Kanye’s unaccredited private school “Donda Academy” before it’s shut down.

Back in 2022, the school got two lawsuits from two ex-teachers who claimed there were some bizarre activities going on in the school.

Part of the lawsuits claimed that the rapper didn’t install Windows in the school because Kanye “doesn’t like glass,” it also mentioned that the students were only fed Sushi.

This new lawsuit from Trevor has some more serious claims in it. In the lawsuit which was obtained by TMZ, Trevor shared that he was originally invited to increase the cotton production of Kanye’s fashion company “Yeezy” before he got involved in his private school.

The former employee claimed in the lawsuit that he suffered “severe discrimination, harassment, and retaliation” while working in the school that he joined in 2022. He was later axed from the school in May 2023 during a Sunday service.

Kanye West — Contents Of The Trevor’s Lawsuit

First of all, it’s worth knowing that Donda Academy students range from ages four to eighteen. In the lawsuit, Trevor alleged that the hitmaker always shares his antisemitic rhetorics in the presence of his staff and students.

He alleged that one day while dishing out his hateful rhetorics, he turned to two students and told them that he “wanted to shave their heads” and went on to share how he “intended to put a jail at the school.”

The lawsuit also claimed that Kanye wasn’t bashing just the Jewish community, he was also against the gays. Trevor alleged that Kanye said: “Yeah I’m going for the gays! First the Jews, then the gays. Gay people are not true Christians. And gay people are controlled by Bill VGates so that they don’t have children for population control.”

The former employee went on to claim that Kanye told his staff that he was addicted to pornography and that Kanye also engaged in “incessant inappropriate conduct” and always put his “apparent arousal” in full view of his employees.

Although Trevor is a black man, he alleged that the “Vultures” rapper “treated black employees palpably worse than white employees.”

Trevor is suing Kanye for discrimination, harassment, creating a hostile work environment, and is seeking special damages exceeding $35,000 (£27,600). Trevor’s attorney also said in a statement to Page Six, “By filing this lawsuit, we hope our injured clients’ rights are vindicated, and that the famous artist Mr. West understands that his messages – which we alleged preach discrimination, antisemitism and Hitler-love – have no place in the world.”
