Kanye West – Surfaces Amid Missing Rumors
Despite repeated rumors that business managers and lawyers can’t find him, Kanye West has surfaced several times recently. And the gossip labeling West as missing simply isn’t true. Because instead, Kanye has avoided those trying to track him down, according to TMZ.
And all those headlines claiming West has gone missing reportedly began with his ex-business manager, Thomas St. John. Because of a lawsuit, Kanye’s ex-business manager claims West has successfully avoided him. And the business manager feels determined to serve West with legal documents in order to sue the rapper for $4.5 million.
But unless St. John can locate Kanye, he cannot sue him for his unpaid fees. However, the business manager complained that he could not locate a legitimate street address for West. As a result, St. John lacks a way to serve him with the necessary legal documents.

West has surfaced several times in recent weeks in Los Angeles. And sources describe the rapper as traveling around and avoiding a real home base. However, the problems with his ex-business manager date back to a year ago. Last January, St. John described Kanye as becoming verbally aggressive and ending their relationship.

However, St. John may want to team up with West’s most recent legal team. Because just like Kanye’s ex business manager, the rapper’s attorneys want to find him. But the lawyers can’t find him in order to drop him as a client, according to Business Insider.
West’s lawyers refused to represent him when he began his anti-Semitic rants. But they need to locate the rapper to notify him that they quit. And Kanye won’t respond to their text messages. Greenberg Traurig LLP had represented Kanye in lawsuits ranging from allegedly stolen music to bad business deals. But because the law firm condemns “antisemitism and all hate speech or bigotry, which is repugnant to the core values we believe in and live,” the attorneys want to “withdraw from our representations” of West.

However, without finding Kanye, they can’t drop him. Attorneys for Greenberg Traurig did serve some documents. But the judge, Analisa Torres, said the lawyers must hand Kanye her order permitting them to withdraw as his legal reps. And West has “ceased responding to GT’s attempts to contact him, and despite diligent efforts and the use of a process server, GT has been unable to locate Ye or serve him,” wrote Greenberg Traurig attorney Justin MacLean to Torres.
A follow-up letter in late December requested an extension for tracking down the rapper. And MacLean referenced “further diligent efforts and the use of a process server” in seeking Kanye. But “GT has still been unable to locate Ye or serve him at the addresses that GT previously understood Ye to frequent,” added MacLean.
