According to recent reports, Kanye West, 43, hasn’t filed a response to Kim’s divorce filing, which became public in February, because he doesn’t believe that Kim, 40, will go through with it. He is quite aware of the divorce proceedings, but he doesn’t take Kim seriously about it.

The divorce has been reported to be a long time coming since last year when Kim and Kanye separated. Kanye has been living at his Wyoming Ranch, where he has moved his stuff, along with 500 pairs of sneakers, even before Kim officially filed for the divorce.

It was predicted about a year ago that Kim and Kanye had reached a stalemate in their relationship and that Kim was only holding back from filing for divorce because she wanted to do what’s best for the kids.

The couple renewed their wedding vows during the fifth anniversary of their marriage. But it seemed that Kim’s decided to make up her mind when she officially filed for divorce in February. So far, neither Kim nor Kanye have given a public statement about the divorce, though she has prepared her eldest daughter North of the impending divorce from “daddy.”

“The younger kids don’t know what’s happening, but North does know what’s going on. Kim sat her down alone to tell her, but not the younger ones,” the source revealed, “Kim and Kanye have been living like this for so long. The last year has been exactly like this where they’ve been living separate lives both physically and emotionally, so whether there has been paperwork or not, they have not been living in a conventional marital situation.”

It’s been a tough time for the family, and recently, Kris Jenner, 65, spoke out about the divorce for the very first time in an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, “Well, I think it’s always going to be hard anytime… there’s a lot of kids,” she said in the March 18 episode. “The good thing about our family is, you know, we’re there for each and we’re supportive, and we love each other very, very much.”

“Kanye hasn’t filed a response to Kim’s divorce filing because he still doesn’t accept that Kim will see the divorce through to completion,” according to an anonymous source that spoke exclusively with HollywoodLife. “He knows how Kim is and he knows that she does not want to do this.”

“He’s doing fine, though, despite everything,” the insider added. “He really doesn’t believe that Kim is actually going to end their marriage. Kanye sees this as a move in a chess game which is why he hasn’t reacted or done anything. He seems to have no plans of filing a response anytime soon, either. Her whole family is stunned.”

As for the power couple in the midst of a divorce, there has been no official comment from them and they have personally hinted nothing of the impending divorce on their socials.
