Kanye West, Julia Fox Make Red Carpet Debut
Julia Fox and Kanye West have enjoyed dating in the spotlight ever since the two hooked up weeks ago. But their Miami and New York City outings didn’t result in a red carpet debut until now. And thanks to Paris Fashion Week’s timing for 2022, Fox and West finally made it official as a red carpet-worthy duo, reported Page Six.
Striding along the red carpet for the first time as a couple, Julia and Kanye turned heads. And those matching denim outfits managed (for awhile) to steal the spotlight from the Kenzo Fall/Winter 2022/2023 fashion show that they chose for their red carpet debut. Paris, France paparazzi rushed to snap their denim statements.
The 31-year-old actress chose a short denim jacket shaped like a cone bra. Low-cut jeans, black gloves, and gold earrings completed her ensemble. But rather than let her hair make a statement on its own, Fox chose to keep the focus on her face. Julia used eyeliner for a winged effect, smokey eye shadow, and rosy blush, offset by her hair bun.

How would the rapper match his girlfriend? West, 44, found a way by choosing his own denim jackets and jeans. Sunglasses, boots and even black gloves finished off his ensemble. And Kanye’s famous ability to look serious at all times came in handy on that red carpet walk.
‘Britney And Justin Did It Better’
Fashion experts and social media united in comparing West and Fox To Britney Spears and her former boyfriend Justin Timberlake. But they also agreed that, as one wrote, “Britney and Justin did it better.” (Sorry, not sorry, Julia and Kanye!) Some style magazines, like Vogue Mexico, even tweeted comparisons for fans.
Spears and Timberlake wore their remarkably similar denim ensembles to the American Music Awards in 2001. And Twitter enjoyed comparing couples. “Britney and Justin walked so Ye and Julia could run,” joked one social media critic.

But don’t call Fox a gold digger in analyzing Julia’s blossoming romance with Kanye West, she pleaded. “People are like ‘Oh, you’re only in it for the fame, you’re in it for the clout, you’re in it for the money.’ Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s keep it real,” said Julia on a recent episode of her “Forbidden Fruits” podcast.
“It’s funny cause I’m getting all of this attention,” added Fox. “But I really couldn’t care,” she claimed. “Watch my movie, read my book. That is more thrilling to me now than eyes on me. I couldn’t care less.”
