Kanye West deserves a “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” spin-off: “Keeping Up With Kanye.” In the last days of 2021, West finalized a California home purchase, partied in Texas, and headed to a private island. Now the rapper reportedly is celebrating the start of 2022 on that island.

Kanye West Jets To Private Island New Year’s Eve Party

Ring out the old, ring in the new! After a year struggling with his wife Kim Kardashian filing for divorce, Kanye West headed up, up, and away to travel to Belize. Kim’s estranged husband, 44, celebrated New Year’s Eve with music executive J Prince on a private island, according to the Daily Mail.

Paparazzi snapped Kanye after his jet landed in Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport in Ladyville, Belize. The rapper sported boots, a cap, a navy blue sweatshirt, and a mask. West’s dark jeans looked worn and artistically spattered with paint. 

The father of North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago looked happy to have arrived on the sunny island. “Yo I love Belize, I love Shyne, I’m so happy to be here, we’re gonna be back. Love y’all,” said a smiling Kanye in a video shared by rapper and politician Shyne Barrow. Other pics showed West in the water with J Prince and Shyne.

Where’s Kim Kardashian?!

As Kanye West visited a music studio on the sunny island, Kim Kardashian remained in the United States. Her rumored romance with comedian Pete Davidson has stayed steady, say insiders. Since filing to divorce West, Kim has become “more serious” with Pete, shared one source.

Recently, Kardashian filed legal documents to change her marital status to single. However, the courts have not yet finalized her divorce. But Kim reportedly doesn’t want to wait for that step to heat up her romance with Pete.

“Kim is so into him. [Kim and Pete] are both really cuddly and affectionate with each other,” shared an insider. Kardashian and Davidson feel relaxed with each other, added another source. It’s not known if Pete has met the children that Kim and Kanye share. North, 8; Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, currently reside with their reality TV star mom. 

But sources emphasize that Kardashian seems much happier with Pete than with Kanye. “They seem more comfortable than couples who have been together a long time. Kim is obviously very happy with him,” revealed one insider. And another shared that Kim’s friends believe he’s the perfect man for her in the wake of her split from Kanye. “He’s exactly what Kim needed after her divorce – someone to make her laugh and just have a fun time with,” summed up another source.
