Kanye West Supports Balenciaga Amid Child Photo Bondage Backlash

Photos of children holding teddy bears in bondage outfits earned Balenciaga immediate slams from social media. And many celebrities stood up to speak out. For instance, Kanye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, reacted after a notable delay. And she criticized the designer.

However, now West has decided to support the company, noted Page Six. But Kanye’s support amid the BDSM ad campaign backlash sparked a flood of criticism. And as the rapper’s tweets got wilder, Twitter reacted by suspending him.

“I stand by Balenciaga and denounce all witch hunts,” said West amid his flood of tweets. “And I cancel cancel culture.” Kanye added, “Jesus is King. Ending trafficking doesn’t start or end with a fashion campaign for Christ Sake.”

But West eventually went so far that Twitter suspended him again. However, before that happened, the rapper tweeted a photo of himself. And he shared a plea to his fans to support Balenciaga. That request came amid a posted text exchange with the company’s creative director, Demna.

“Never turn our backs,” tweeted Kanye to his fans. “Demna and the Balenciaga family for life.” The alleged text change showed the company’s creative director asking West to “stop Denma hate.” But what got the rapper suspended came next.

And when West shared a logo that resembled a combination of the Star of David and a Swastika, Twitter removed his post. The company then suspended the rapper. And Kanye turned to former President Donald Trump’s Truth Social app to share what occurred.

But Twitter owner Elon Musk offered an update through his own account. “I tried my best,” declared Musk. “Despite that, [Kanye] again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”

However, West’s Twitter storm followed a shocking interview with Alex Jones. And the rapper stunned by praising Adolf Hilter. For instance, Kanye shared, “I’m done with the classifications. Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.”

But the Twitter firestorm and the interview follow months of West’s controversial comments. As a result, companies like Adidas, Gap, and Vogue have cut their ties with Kanye. And the rapper recently attracted attention for a dinner with former President Donald Trump. Infamous white nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes accompanied West.
