Kanye West – Throws Shade At Friends Sitcom

Who could say anything negative about the beloved sitcom, Friends? Fans just got the answer when Kanye West returned to social media. And Ye made it clear that he disliked the famous show starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer. Kanye threw shade at Friends during a long Instagram rant over the Labor Day weekend, noted the Daily Mail.

The unfriendly Friends slams occurred after an old tweet resurfaced. Originally posted in October 2020, Kanye’s tweet called the Friends sitcom not funny. However, Ye then claimed that he did not send the original text shading the sitcom. But West added, “I actually didn’t write the tweet that said “Friends wasn’t funny either. But I wish I had.”

At that point, it seemed clear that Friends needed a hero to save the sitcom from becoming known as a show slammed by Kanye West. Who would play superhero, swooping in to save the day? Friends star Courteney Cox did so on Instagram.

Friends Star Posts Perfect Shade At Kanye West

Turning to Instagram, Friends star Courteney Cox cleverly used a video to react to Kanye’s slams. The clip showed the Friends star studying her cell phone. And she notices Kanye’s new post about Friends. Staying perfectly calm, the actress reflects on how Ye used to behave.

And Cox came up with the perfect response. “I bet the old Kayne thought Friends was funny ☹️,” retorted the Friends star. Her fans rushed to praise the Friends star’s comeback. For instance, one wrote, “This is incredible 🔥😂😂❤️.” And another shared, “I love Friends as much as Kanye loves Kanye ❤️.”

However some think that Jennifer Aniston played a role in the online Friends feud. In late October 2020, Aniston publicized her taking in her Presidential ballot. And Jennifer revealed that she voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. But at the end of her post, Aniston added, “It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible.”

As a result, Ye posted a screenshot of a news story starring Jennifer’s post. And he claimed, “Wow that Rogan interview got em shook Let’s gooooooooo.” That claim occurred just before Kanye threw shade at Friends as “not funny.”
