Kanye West – Collaboration With Gap Takes Weird Turn

Kim’s estranged hubby has already become famous for collaborating with both Adidas and Gap. But his Gap efforts just took a very weird twist. And in true Kanye style, West posted his complaints on Instagram, noted the Cut.

For instance, the musician/designer accused Gap of holding meetings without him. And in another post, Kanye alleged that Gap stole a design. He also claimed that the company canceled a photo shoot with his children in Japan.

As a result of the allegations, Kanye issued a threat to end his collaboration with the company. However, West already inked a deal with the company. And his new collection got rolled out in stores previously. But that didn’t stop Kanye from his Instagram warnings.

And in a lengthy video, West announced, “Sparta.” But he then warned that the work did not represent “celebrity marketing” or a collaborative effort. And instead, Kanye called it a “life mission.” As a result, he announced he would consider taking his concepts elsewhere.

But no one seemed to know how to interpret the rapper’s final words to Instagram about Gap. Because in his last gasp on the topic (at least for now), he issued a veiled threat. And West warned that the “monster” could soon “come alive again.”
