Kanye West Uses ‘Donda 2’ Event To Shade Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, And Surpising Celebs!

Kanye West recently live-streamed a listening party for his new album, “Donda 2.” But the event did more than offer the chance to preview music from the rapper also known as Ye. For instance, fans who have enjoyed Ye’s rants against his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Pete Davidson got a treat. Rather than trying to decipher the 44-year-old’s Instagram posts, fans got to hear West throw shade during the live-stream!

Kanye West Gets Emotional At ‘Donda 2’ Listening Party

Living up to his reputation! Kanye West fans who attended his “Donda 2” listening party also heard Ye indulge in his reputation for throwing shade, reported Yahoo. And once again, Kanye targeted Kim Kardashian, 41, and her boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28. But in addition to the usual suspects, Ye chose various celebrities to trash.

Kanye’s new album represents a risk for the rapper. At this point, West has decided to offer it only on his $200 listening gadget, called the Stem Player. But he tried to get his fans to take that investment risk by playing his new music during the two-hour event. For instance, the audience got the opportunity to hear Ye emote about his heartbreak from his four children. Kim and Kanye currently face a divorce dispute over the kids’ custody.

But while some album tracks seemed sad, others got downright shady. For instance, Ye rapped, “God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a*s.” And another tune linked to Davidson’s relationship with Ye’s kids. “Never stand between a man and his kids,” rapped Kanye. West also referred to Kim on several occasions in his album but took a less harsh approach to shading her, using her “Saturday Night Live” opening monologue in one track intro.

But beyond Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, Kanye West indulged in name dropping some celebs and shading others. For instance, Kanye honored his late pal Virgil Abloh, mentioned Monica Lewinsky, and threw shade at Vice President Kamala Harris. But for the latter, West simply used her “we did it, Joe” audio to introduce “Louis Bags.”

And then came the parade of music stars. Jack Harlow, Alicia Keys, Migos, Pusha T, and The Game all joined Ye. But the biggest shock came when Kanye stood on stage with alleged abuser Marilyn Manson! As a result, the concert’s ending seemed to lack momentum. But Playboi Carti tried to help by wearing clown makeup resembling the Joker.

And in the end, Kanye did get support from his celebrity friends. For instance, Rick Ross, Elon Musk, French Montana, Diddy, and DJ Khaled mingled at a VIP suite. And the star-studded group reportedly used the long delay to discuss crypto.
