It may seem as though Kanye West have bitten more than he can chew, and it’s really costing him. The “Vulture” rapper is now well known for controversies and that has made brands reluctant to work with him.
Last year in December, while performing his “Vulture” song in Chicago he suddenly burst and dropped words about Hitler and Jesus, made more Antisemitic comments, and refused to be apologetic about it.
This year too, one of the singles in his latest album “Vulture” made headlines for name-dropping Taylor Swift in the song lyrics.
He has constantly come under fire for parading his almost-naked wife in public. Due to the incessant controversies surrounding Kanye, some countries have been refusing him to use their stadiums to perform his songs.
A source recently told “The U.S. Sun” that Europe has denied the rapper access to use their stadiums to perform his songs despite having slated to play at the Rolling Loud festival in California on March 14 in Europe. The source said, “His reputation and the controversies in the last few years are the main reason for this. Now almost no companies that manage arenas or stadiums want to allow him to do shows on their venues.”
Kanye West — On The Places That Want No Part Of Kanye
The refusal to allow Kanye access to their stadium comes after Kanye’s recent “listening experience” held in Paris, where the event organizers were blasted by angry fans and audience who came to watch Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign perform but were disappointed.
The show was described as a “rip-off” after waiting to see the artists perform their songs but instead got to listen to the whole songs in the album play while the two didn’t bother to pick up the microphone.
The insider revealed that Kanye’s next target is Milan’ famous San Siro soccer stadium. The source shared that although the controversial rapper has a good relationship with Inter Milan’s ownership group, “the majority of the board are still against the idea of allowing him to use the stadium to have his show.”
The source continued, “They know that Kanye’s presence and having him doing shows at a stadium can have them make a lot of money, but the risk, and the image, is more important for the arenas and stadium owners. It’s going to be really, really complicated for Kanye to do shows in Europe.”
