In a now-deleted post on Twitter, Kanye made antisemitic posts dissing blacks and making hate speech “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 [sic] On JEWISH PEOPLE [sic] The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic [sic] because black people are actually Jew also [sic] You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.” after the post went viral, Twitter restricted Kanye’s account. Instagram also restricted Kanye’s account, and deleted content from his page for violating the rules and regulations guiding the application.
Kanye West — What Parler CEO George Farmer Said About Kanye’s Acquisition
Parler’s CEO who happens to be the husband of Kanye’s right-wing political pundit released a statement concerning Kanye’s acquisition of the social media platform, the statement reads:
“Ye’s acquiring of Parler will strengthen our ability to create an uncancelable ecosystem. No one should have to self-censor out of uncertainty about which legal speech will get him or her banned. No individual or business should worry about being completely deplatformed, as Parler was, merely for the expression of opposing viewpoints. Groupthink is, and always has been, more dangerous than independent thinking. Parler will remain a place where everyone can think, listen, and speak freely. We will continue the fight against censorship, cancel culture, and authoritarianism.”
Candace Owens also joined Kanye West in the unveiling of his WHIT LIVES MATTER T-shirt which he rocked on his Yeezy season 9 fashion show. Due to the antisemitic posts Kanye made that granted him a ban, many celebrities called him out including Trevor Noah, below is what Trevor had to say.
Kanye West — Trevor Noah Speaks Out On Kanye’s Racist Posts
Trevor Noah, when giving his two cents on what he thinks of Kanye West’s terrible online behavior, the comedian said, “I don’t even know where to begin with this sh**, I mean promoting antisemitism to your 50 million followers? I’m not even joking about it, threatening to go ‘death con 3’ on Jewish people?” From Trevor’s voice, it was obvious that he feels so much irritated by Kanye’s tweets that he took the opportunity to school Kanye on the right thing to say before moving on to his opinion on the issue, “I know this is not the point but that’s not how you say it. I know it’s not the main issue. I know that. But it’s DEF CON 3. Alright, not death con 3.”
Speaking about Kanye’s starting lines about feeling sleepy Trevor asked, “What is that? Does antisemitism make you tired? Is that why MAGA people love the MyPillow guy?” To be frank, lately, Kanye has been crossing lines that are not meant to be crossed.
Prior to Kanye’s anti-Semitic posts, Kanye has been in an online battle with celebrities who were against his latest fashion which Kanye unveiled during Kanye’s Yeezy runway show. The rapper sported a t-shirt that has the inscription “WHITE LIVES MATTER” boldly written on the back. Now, the issue here is that there’s been a movement of #BlackLivesMatter which has been going on for over two years now, Kanye being a black man was expected to be a part of that movement but, Kanye’s runway show which featured Kanye and his right-wing political pundit Candace Owens sporting the white lives matter t-shirt was a slap to the face of most celebrities that came to honor the show and they didn’t waste time to slam Kanye for that.
