The SKIMS founder wished Folk Rock singer Harry Hudson a happy birthday on June 2 by sharing several throwback photos and videos of her time with Hudson on her Instagram story.

Kim captioned the post she made for Hudson on his 30th birthday, “Snapchat movies we used to make.” Among the items posted, a particular video caught fans’ interest.
The video in question featured Kim’s ex-husband Kanye “Ye” West back when they were still married.

The funny clip had Hudson professing his love to the reality tv star while Kanye quietly watched. Hudson was heard telling Kim, “Clearly, I’m the one for you.”
He continued, “I’m tall. I’m dark. I’m handsome. Clearly, I’m way more talented. I can get you seven million roses for our wedding. I’m the one who’s better for you. Obviously, it’s me!”

The clip ended with a jealous Kanye lunging at the camera to stop the recording. After watching the video, fans could not help but wonder why Kim chose to post that clip.
Some speculated that Kim did it intentionally. Either as a kind of promotion or to show the world that Kanye actually loved her back in the day. Someone wrote she is “too calculated to flippantly promote him like this.”
A second commented, “This is way deeper. I truly think part of why Kanye appealed to Kim was because he hated f**king everyone except her. And it made her feel so special and appreciated.”
A third said, “Interestingly timed with the soft launch of Yeezy’s going back on sale with Adidas. It’s a ‘reconciliation’ of sorts or rather a subtle nod of support towards his image rehab since she refused to acknowledge him and his controversies.”

A fourth added, “It was a very weird throwback. However, it did paint a picture of Kim’s life back in her day as men fell over everything to be with her. I think suitors don’t choose her in the end. Too much spotlight, drama, her ex.”

After Kanye, Kim dated comedian Pete Davidson for nine months before they broke up over their busy work lives. Since then, the mom of four has been single.
Last month, Kim admitted during an appearance at the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast that she hasn’t completely ruled out finding love. She is indeed very hopeful.
“I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone, and love creating a life with someone,” she said.
“I definitely will take my time. And I think there’s so many factors, especially when you have kids and being mindful of people that enter in your life.”
