Kanye West’s Former Fans Turn His Reddit Into Taylor Swift Appreciation Page

Kanye West has caused many fans to turn against the rapper. And after seeing his recent anti-Semitic comments, some even took action. As a result, they united to turn Kanye’s former Reddit fan community into a Taylor Swift appreciation page.

Kanye West’s – Former Fans Align With Taylor Swift!

Taylor Swift and Kanye West famously feuded for years. As a result, the songstress’ followers tended to go against West. And Kanye’s fans typically mocked Swift. But not anymore. After the rapper’s flood of horrifying anti-Semitic comments, Kanye’s fans have fled. And they united to show support for Taylor Swift on Reddit, noted Variety.

But the change to the Reddit community from one supporting West to one cheering for Swift took awhile to occur. However, when the 45-year-old rapper appeared on a talk show to praise Adolf Hitler and Nazis, his fans revolted. And the over 700,000 subscribers in Kanye’s Reddit group shifted to a Taylor appreciation community.

The introduction to the revamped page said it all. “This is now a Taylor Swift Subreddit. We had a good run fellas,” announced the change. And more than 30,000 individuals shared their likes for that statement. But many went even further, expressing regret about disliking Taylor Swift just because Kanye did.

And other fans devoted time to praising Taylor. For instance, one former fan of West’s wrote, “I absolutely loathed [Swift] back in 2016/17 just because I took Ye’s side in their beef. Kinda regret it now that I like some of her music and it’s awfully clear that Kanye is a horrible person.”

Others discussed their favorite Taylor Swift albums. And a few commented on the origins of the feud between West and Swift. It began at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. As Taylor happily began her acceptance speech for Best Video by a Female Artist, Kanye interrupted her to support Beyonce. And West fueled the feud with a song that included lyrics claiming he made Taylor famous. 

However, in addition to rejecting Kanye and supporting Taylor, West’s former fans turned the Reddit page into one educating others on the events of the Holocaust. For instance, some posts shared images from that time period. And others included posts focused on victims, including Anne Frank and her diary account of the tragedies. Such posts show how the entire community turned against Kanye after he denied the Holocaust.
