The Kardashians were also accused of using Amari for a storyline. The user berryfoamgel posted on Reddit: “Amari is just a prop in the Kardashians.”
The original poster exclaimed that they were “disgusted” by the Kardashians’ treatment of Tristan Thompson’s brother. They feel that the family is only using him for a positive storyline.
“The way Kris talks about Amari, how he basically exists to teach them lessons in life makes me want to barf. This is such a common and dehumanizing idea that surrounds disabled and terminally ill people. Their struggles are made into an ‘inspiration’ to the able-bodied; a ‘reminder of what matters most in life.'”
The Kardashians have been accused of not only using Amari for a storyline but also profiting off his story. Some argue that they’re exploiting a disabled minor who didn’t give his consent to be on the reality show.

Yet, the family won’t suggest to their fans that they should support a charity or organization that helps adults and kids like Amari. It leads to nothing constructive in the end.
