Will Kim Kardashian Finally Take the Bar And Become A Lawyer? Find Out Here!

Kardashian News reveals, Kim Kardashian’s attorney and mentor has revealed some news about when she will take the bar, and hopefully pass to become a real attorney. Read on and we’ll give you the low down.

Kardashian News – Though Kim Kardashian Passed Baby Bar – It Took 4 Times

Kardashian News reveals that, per the Sun, Kim Kardashian may very well be getting ready to set the bar, so to speak, as a new lawyer. The 42-year-old SKIMS mogul is currently in an apprentice program since changing her focus to criminal justice reform in recent years.

As Kardashian fans are likely to know, she finally passed the baby bar exam — a one-day first-year law test that covers contracts, criminal law, and torts — in 2021 after having failed on three previous occasions. However, she still had a long way to go to become fully qualified to practice law.

Bar Exam Must Wait Until 2024

On Law&Crime network, Kardashian’s mentor, attorney Jessica Jackson revealed that the socialite is currently involved in a four-year apprenticeship program under her tutelage. She initially began the process in 2019 — a year after she lobbied former President Donald Trump to sign a bill directed at prison and sentencing reform, The First Step Act.

However, the media personality won’t become a legitimate attorney until she passes the actual bar exam. After her failed attempts at the baby bar exam before finally passing it, she still must wait until the summer of 2024 before she can take, and hopefully pass, the actual bar exam.

Kim Kardashian – Is Taking A Harder Path To The Bar

As she doesn’t hold an undergraduate degree, the SKIMS founder is taking an unusual path to becoming a lawyer. California is one of only a handful of states that allow aspiring lawyers to study under a mentor for four years in lieu of attending a university.

“Now I will tell you, that is a much, much harder path,” explained Jackson. “Because you’re essentially not just working on cases the whole time, but you don’t have professors, you’re having to learn all of the legal doctrine yourself.”

She continued: “You have to be self-motivated to crack open these old law books and learn all the cases. You’re having to figure it out – it’s very, very difficult.”

Time To Focus On Studies

The lawyer and mentor also praised the influencer for using her voice as a major celebrity to raise awareness of justice issues. “She really has just changed the narrative on criminal justice reform,” said Jackson. “She’s incredible, just such a powerhouse. She’s an entrepreneur, she’s a mom, she’s also a law student.”

The attorney also revealed that Kardashian is now paying closer attention to her legal studies after having failed in her first three attempts at the baby bar exam. Be sure and stay up to speed on all Kardashian-related stories. Return here often for more Kardashian news and updates.
