Katie Holmes’ New Man Is Musician Bobby Wooten III

Katie is back in the dating game! What’s more? They even got her mama’s blessing! 

News out there is that after Katie split from her ex-boyfriend chef Emilio Vitolo Jr., she pushed everything and anyone that came in the name of “dating” away from her. Wellllll… She finally welcomed Booby Wooten with open arms and this looks like it’s the real thing for them.

According to the photoshoot for People magazine where Katie, 43, debuted her new relationship, Katie and Bobby, 33, were seen kissing and holding hands while out and about in New York City on April 28, with Katie, dressed in white overalls over a white shirt was all smiles as she held hands with Bobby during a daytime stroll in the city.

Harmonizing with his date in a navy jacket, button-up shirt, and dark trousers, Bobby was also flashing a smile as he wrapped his arm around the actress. At one point during their walk, Katie was seen pulling the Grammy nominee close as they shared a passionate kiss.

During their day out, the couple was also spotted meeting up with Katie’s mom Kathy Holmes, who Bobby greeted with a friendly hug—— Seems like mama blessed the union already.

The outlet reported that after some major PDA moments on the city streets, Holmes and Wooten made their way to the Guggenheim Museum.

Katie Holmes – Relationships Before Bobby

The actress shares her 16-year-old daughter with the Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise, whom she split from in 2012 after six years of marriage.

Katie was linked to Jamie Foxx following her divorce from Tom but split with the Ray star in 2019 after several years together.

During an interview with Town & Country in 2017, Katie—who is notoriously private about her personal life—shared that her daughter takes her priority over everything else.

“My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now,” she told the magazine. “I feel so blessed to do what I do, but there’s nothing in the world better than watching your child succeed.”

Katie and chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. linked up in early 2020, she and Vitolo quickly became inseparable and seemed to remain close after their split. It was said that Katie “ended up choosing work over him. It wasn’t a surprise, really,” an OK! insider spilled last year of their break up, noting that Katie and Vitolo’s romance was a rebound to help her get over the demise of her longtime, on-off relationship with Jamie Foxx.

In July 2021, Katie congratulated her chef ex on their then-new film Almost A Year, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival that year.

Aside from now being known for dating Tom Cruise’s ex-wife, Wooten, a Grammy-nominated composer, may also be recognized as the bassist in David Byrne’s “American Utopia.”

And while the insider spilled Katie swore off men back in October 2021, it’s clear she’s changed her mind after meeting the musician. The insider revealed that getting back out onto the dating scene was “not a huge priority” for Katie, though the 43-year-old was open to a new relationship if the stars aligned. As the insider explained, “If it happens, it happens. If not, that’s OK, too.”

Wooten marks the first man on Holmes’ arm since her split from chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. in May 2021. The former flames were together for about eight months, but an insider spilled to the outlet that they began to fizzle out, saying: “Katie has a lot of big priorities in her life — she’s a single mom, her daughter [Suri] always comes first, and things were moving very fast.”
