Katy Perry Scores New Gig
The singer who was once known as Katy Hudson has scored a new gig. According to a new report via The Sun, Katy Perry will make millions for a private performance overseas.
It’s for a pre-wedding function for a client from Asia with a big net worth. The wedding takes place in “Cannes in the South of France.”
The article noted that she “will bank millions as she jets to sing at the wedding of the richest man in Asia.” Even though the pre-wedding happened in March, the actual wedding will be in July.
“They have invited 800 guests who are currently on a space-themed cruise across Europe, with stops in Barcelona and Genoa,” the source told The U.S. Sun.
The wedding is for Mukesh Ambani, the wealthiest man in Asia. He has a son named Anant Ambani. Mukesh will marry his fiance Radhika Merchant. The wedding was themed after a masquerade cruise that went viral on social media.

Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities attended the event. Katy Perry wasn’t the only famous face there. The family can afford to have whoever they want at their ceremonies. They make their money from Reliance Industries, part of the petrochemical industry.
American Idol Salary Revealed
Katy Perry teased that she’ll return to American Idol eventually. She can’t turn down the money. She made headlines when she received $25 million a season from ABC to judge the singing competition.
Katy was a judge alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie when the network rebooted the show in 2018.
