Katy Perry Shares Plans For Tour After Las Vegas Residency, Says She’s ‘Due’

Katy Perry wishes that all her fans could’ve made it to her Las Vegas show. With that in mind, she made the decision to leave Sin City and go on to host another tour after wrapping up her Resorts World Las Vegas residency.

In an interview with “Out” the Santa Barbara, California native said, “I know there’s a lot of people who couldn’t make it to Vegas. The last time I was on tour was in 2018. I’m… due. How about that? I’m due to go out and see the kids that couldn’t make it to Vegas.”

As it may or may not be the case with other tours, it’s said that special costumes are usually made for the stars’ performances.

Due to how much Katy wished to have all her fans available on her Tours, she cannot help the fact that carting around her costumes and several different toiletries, would be stressful, if not, most difficult to do.

While sharing her pride for the shows she has created so far, she hinted at the impossibility of bringing along all she’ll need with her to every show. “I’m just so proud of the show that we created and put on,” said Katy.

Continuing she added, “It is such a spectacular show that we love so much. It’s almost like the greatest hits show! I call it all thriller, no filler. I wish I could bring it to the rest of the world, but it’s just not technically possible to cart around OTT toilets and bathtubs.”

The 38-year-old further added, “Closing a chapter on PLAY allows me to start a new chapter. I’m so excited for the potential of my story to continue.”

Last year, the pop star who shares daughter Daisy Dove, 2, whom she shares with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, told Extra during an interview on the red carpet for the 2022 CMA Awards how she still finds out time to be a good parent to her daughter.

“I have a residency in Las Vegas, and I get to literally drop [my daughter] off at preschool and then go play a show in Las Vegas, I come back late, like maybe 11:30 or something. I still make her lunches,” the “Firework” singer told the outlet.

She also added, “I feel so much pride in cutting off the ends of the sandwiches with a full face of, like, sweaty makeup in my robe. It’s such a science.”
