In fact, it seemed that her apology helped her see less jail time, unlike Kimesha Williams who denies any involvement in a murder.
Kawhi Leonard has a blazing track record and the Los Angeles Clippers basketball star has a dazzling amount of credit and stats to his name. However, his sister, Kimesha has an unfortunate previous conviction record that will see her in prison for a very long time. For once, it seems that someone who allegedly committed a violent crime gets more prison time than a non-violent federal conviction.
Kawhi Leonard’s – Sister Kimesha Found Guilty Of Murder
Kimesha, who has a previous conviction ran into trouble about four years ago. A the time, she was actually banned from the casino where the murder happened. According to Sportskeeda, she allegedly “killed an elderly woman in a casino back in 2019.” The crime went down at the Pechanga Resort Casino and she was in the company of co-accused Candace Townsell.
The sister of Kawhi Leonard was accused of murdering an elderly woman named Afaf Assad. Back in February this year, they were found guilty. Now that the sentencing has been done, it’s going to be a long time before they see the light of freedom again. The Sun US reported that “Williams and her conspirator, Candace Townsell, were found guilty of first-degree murder, robbery, and elder abuse.” The penalty is “life in prison without the possibility of parole for robbing and killing [the] 84-year-old.”
Bashed To death In The Bathroom
The story is that the sister of Kawhi Leonard followed Asaf into the bathroom, after noticing that she carried a purse with about $1000 in it. A witness who heard a “thump” found the old lady unconscious on the floor. Later, she died in a hospital from a brain hemorrhage. Finding the culprits involved the use of surveillance equipment.
