Keanu Reeves Ready to Suit Up as John Wick Once More

Keanu Reeves Ready to Suit Up as John Wick Once MoreI’m sure the fandom surrounding that billion dollar franchise in the name of ‘John Wick’ will be delighted to know that its lead star is actively campaigning for another sequel.

I think I vaguely remember plans for spinoffs, but it’s never going to be the same as the main man taking the wheel again, would it?

Here’s what Keanu Reeves has to say about his hopes and fears for one more ‘John Wick’ installment.

Keanu Reeves’ “Heart” Wants To Do John Wick But His “Knees” Might Object

Remember that phrase, one is not getting any younger? Well, we can barely expect Reeves at 60 to pull off the same incredible moves he’s managed to do so far in the high octane action franchise.

Let’s just say that his gun-slinging and sword-wielding character works overtime and Reeves’ body may no longer be able to keep up.

Despite these setbacks, Reeves says, “You can never say never.”

Just for context, he also added, “My knees right now are saying, ‘You can’t do another John Wick.’ So my heart [wants to], but I don’t know if my knees can do it.” But I’m going to ignore the part about the knee and stick to the “never say never” part.

Luckily, Reeves’ return to ‘John Wick’ won’t be too hard to manufacture since fans are far from believing that the glorious assassin is now dead.

Yeah, we saw him seemingly bleed out on the steps of the Sacré-Cœur after being badly injured, and watched as Ian McShane’s Winston and Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King visited a grave marked for John Wick, but we could easily unsee that. Ha, just kidding. The whole thing was too ambiguous for us to be dead certain that he truly died, anyway.

John Wick Talks Playing ‘Shadow’ For Many Years

At present though, the ‘Matrix’ star is knee-deep in promoting his latest movie, ‘Sonic 3,’ where he voiced the newest character to take on Sonic and friends, but this time, there are two Robotniks being a pain in the ass, as always.

During his conversation with CBS Mornings, he revealed that playing Shadow comes with no real limitations and he would be delighted to do it for many years to come.

He said, “Which is why you can voice Shadow for, like, decades to come — there are no physical limitations, just your voice!” Turning to the film’s director Jeff Fowler, who joined him for the interview, he added, “I’m free!”
