Oh baby! Rumors that Keke Palmer hid a secret pregnancy have swirled for awhile. But Palmer waited until she found the perfect moment to announce it. And on the stage of Saturday Night Live, Keke showed the world her baby bump! 

SNL’s Twitter announcement immediately went viral. And thousands retweeted and commented on her clever way of sharing her exciting pregnancy news. “Congrats, Keke Palmer,” tweeted SNL. And the show included a video clip showing her impressive baby bump display.

With the display quickly going viral, fans reacted in all sorts of ways. For instance, one confessed, “I really looked at her belly cause I thought she was doing a bit 😂. CONGRATS @KekePalmer.” And another chimed in, “So happy for Keke!!!! Congrats on your little one to come 👶🏾 #snl.”

As a result of that unexpected baby bump display, some fans wondered why Keke waited until the show to share. But Palmer explained her reasoning. And the actress, 29, revealed that all the rumors about her pregnancy made her finally decide to reveal the truth, noted Page Six.

Palmer, who will welcome her first baby with her boyfriend Darius Jackson, talked about all the remarks on her Instagram. “There’s some rumors going around. People have been in my comments saying ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant.’ And I want to set the record straight — I am,” declared Palmer.

The audience cheered as Keke opened up her blazer to show off her baby bump. And she joked, “You know, I gotta say though. It is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you y’all. But it’s even worse when they’re correct,” she added. However, Palmer declared her pregnancy “the biggest blessing. And I am so excited guys — I’m gonna be a mom!”

The pregnancy rumors began when Keke wore a dramatic gown at an awards show. And her Instagram photo of that dress sparked a flood of speculation. For instance, one wrote, “Whew keke that baby got you glowing 😉. I’m ready to be a new T.T.” And another speculated, “Baby on the wayyy!!😍.” One fan even pleaded, “Just show us the bump 🤰🏾.”

However, Palmer has become known for preferring to keep her romances private. But she and Jackson made their relationship Instagram official in August 2021. And Darius wrote, “You’ve been a blessing from above.”

Palmer even discussed her new love in an interview. And she shared that her romance makes her “the happiest I’ve ever felt with someone. So why would I go out of my way to hide this person?” she asked. “That’s a lot more work than just living in my life and being in my life.”
