Kelly Ripa – Denies Hubby’s First Kiss Description
All My Children gave Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos a stage for their first kiss. However, the couple clash over exactly what took place during their first lip lock, according to People.
Now married for 27 years, Kelly and Mark do agree that their first kiss took place in 1996. And the talk show co-hosts even concur that at the time, they portrayed their All My Children characters Hayley Vaughan and Mateo Santos.
But Mark, 52, claimed he felt shocked at the kiss because Kelly “slipped the tongue.” However, his 52-year-old wife denies that description of her actions. And she called it “not true” and “a lie.”

However, Conseulos held to his account of that first canoodling session. And he pointed out, “It was the ’90s, so it was fast and loose. Big tongue.”
But Kelly refused to agree that she gave her now-husband a French kiss on the set of All My Children. And she asserted, “I never French [kiss] on set. That’s my own personal rule — no Frenching on set.”
Ripa met Mark for the first time on the stage of All My Children. The year was 1995, and Consuelos had just accepted an acting gig on the soap opera. But soon after the two began acting together, they started to date.
And the couple wed in May of 1996. Life created a perfect plot for their All My Children characters, who staged an an on-screen wedding in 2000.

Kelly Ripa – Calls Co-Hosting A ‘Dream Come True’
Mark and Kelly co-parent two sons, Joaquin, 20, and Michael, 26. And they also share a daughter Lola, 22.
But beyond their personal lives, the two became linked again professionally in February. And after Ryan Seacrest existed Kelly’s talk show, Consuelos became her permanent co-host.
However, Mark set the record straight on what it means to live and work together. “I think that people think that we’re on top of each other all day,” he admitted. But in reality, Consuelos shared that he and Kelly just “see each for a few hours in the morning. And oftentimes we don’t see each other until dinnertime nowadays.”
And Mark denied that the two spend too much time together. “Because we both are off doing different things,” he explained. “I don’t think it’s, you know, too much time. There’s no such thing.” And Kelly agreed, calling working with her hubby “a “dream come true. I really enjoy being around him. He doesn’t get rattled,” she added. “And that’s very reassuring and comforting to be around.”
