Kelly Ripa Dishes On Pandemic Pregnancy And Hubby Mark Consuelos!

Kelly Ripa, like many others, faced some unexpected challenges during the pandemic. And the talk show host recalled how one challenge came when she thought that she had gotten pregnant. As a result, Ripa described taking daily pregnancy tests.

But her worries about a pandemic pregnancy didn’t even make it into the celebrity gossip spotlight at first . And instead, celeb gossip watchers went wild over rumors that Kelly had nearly died during sex with hubby Mark Consuelos! Find out about Ripa’s baby discovery and those sex-by-death rumors below.

Kelly Ripa – Became Pregnant Amid Pandemic?!

Now 51, talk show host Kelly Ripa feels ready to share her pandemic puzzle with the world. And Ripa revealed that she truly suspected that she had become pregnant. But Kelly felt baffled when her daily pregnancy tests didn’t reveal a baby on the way, reported Page Six.

Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos currently share two sons. Michael, 25, and Joaquin, 19, also have a sister Lola, 21. But Kelly revealed that she truly thought she would have to tell her children that she had conceived a fourth child during the pandemic. And she recalled that she began taking daily pregnancy tests.

The talk show host plans to include that tale in her memoir, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories. And Kelly promised, “I will definitely include that time during the pandemic that I thought my husband got me pregnant. I started taking pregnancy tests daily.”

But then Mark pointed out another reason that his wife might stop getting her period. And she recalled how Consuelos “sort of gingerly said, ‘Could there be another reason why you’re not getting your period?’ He really had to walk on eggshells here [by explaining to me that I was probably going through menopause].”

However, while Ripa felt relieved about not becoming pregnant again, the talk show host also talked openly about another bombshell in her book. And that concerns the time that she fainted during sex. Kelly and Mark have been married for 26 years, and the couple often chat about their sex lives.

But one incident somehow made it into the gossip mill as Ripa nearly dying from sex! However, the daytime talk show host explained what happened. She and Mark were together when she suddenly fainted. Later, they discovered that she passed out because of two large cysts on her ovaries.

However, at the time, Consuelos didn’t know what had happened. And he dressed his wife to rush her to the hospital. But when she became conscious, Kelly discovered that her husband had chosen a 1980s-style French-cut leotard, red Manolo Blahnik stilettos, and Consuelos’ old sweatpants for transportation to the emergency room.

Kelly Ripa – Recalls How Hubby Dressed Her Like ‘Dime Store Prostitute’

But rumors about Ripa somehow got twisted into a narrative claiming that Kelly nearly died during sex. However, the talk show host hopes that her honesty will stop those rumors. And she even found the humor in recalling the outfit that Mark chose for her to wear to the hospital. Kelly joked, “Here is my husband, who is, dare I say, stylish, well-dressed at all times.”

However, Consuelos dressed Ripa in an usual outfit. And she added, “He dressed me like a dime store prostitute in my time of need. It’s still baffling to me to this day that this is the best costume for the day that he could find for me. When I was on the stretcher, I thought I was dreaming,” she admitted. But that nightmare turned into a reality when she woke up, attired in her designer stilettos, French-cut leotard, and husband’s old sweatpants.
