Kelly Ripa Has The Best Reaction To Her Son Michael Named One Of The ‘Sexiest People Alive’!

Kelly Ripa usually teases other people and gets them to react to her comments on her talk show with Ryan Seacrest. But when Kelly’s son Michael won an unexpected honor, Ripa herself became the focus. And her co-host Seacrest helped to provoke her reaction.

Ryan Seacrest – Shocks Kelly Ripa With Sexiest Man Alive News!

Kelly Ripa never expected that her son Michael, 25, would steal the spotlight on an episode of Live With Kelly And Ryan.  And her face showed her shock when her co-host Seacrest dropped the bombshell. Ryan did so in the most casual way possible, making Ripa’s double-take all the more evident, noted Page Six.

And Seacrest just happened to hold up People magazine’s Sexiest People Alive issue to surprise Ripa. As he held up the magazine, Ryan pointed to a picture of Michael with Kelly’s husband, Mark Consuelos. And Seacrest noted that he had flipped through the issue and discovered the shocker.

“I’m flipping through [the issue],” shared Ryan. “And I see this page ‘Gen Next’. Michael is one of the ‘Sexiest People Alive,” added Seacrest.

The issue shows Michael wearing a green blazer. And his picture showcases how Kelly’s husband looked at the same age. As a result, Ripa thought that Seacrest had teased her with some sort of faked page.

And the 52-year-old talk show host looked amazed when she finally realized the issue was real. “Are you kidding me?” asked Ripa. And she added, “Give me this.” However, after putting on her eyeglasses and studying the page, Kelly finally realized it was authentic.

And Ripa joked about her son. “You would think he would tell us so we’d pick up a couple of copies for the grandparents,” noted Kelly. However, the talk show host also admitted she forgets how much alike her husband and son look. But then the proud mom read what the magazine wrote about Michael.

Kelly Ripa – Shares Pride In Her ‘Handsome’ Son

“Michael respects his father’s work ethic,” read Ripa. And she joked, “Yeah, he worked one-day last week.” But she couldn’t hide her pride as she quoted her son, “I admire my dad’s organization and timeliness. Growing up we were always really early and if I’m not early some place I kind of freak out.”

And looking at the photo, Kelly added, “Michael Consuelos. I always considered you a handsome young fellow. Conscientious, hard-working, diligent, respectful,” she praised. But then Ripa teased, “I had no idea that you were considered sexy.” 

And when Seacrest told his co-host that she should feel proud of her son, she defended her joking. “No I know. I always found his father to be sexy.” After reflecting on that, Ryan pointed out, “Well … apple, tree.”
