Kelsey Harris Takes Stand In Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez Trial

Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion have been airing all their dirty laundry in a Los Angeles criminal court this week, and Megan’s former friend Kelsey Harris recently took the stand.

For those of you who never cared, or just plain old forgot, back in 2020 Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez got in to a heated dispute when they were leaving Kylie Jenner’s pool party, which ended with blazing bullets and broken feet.  Lanez was arrested and charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and possession of a loaded and unregistered firearm in his vehicle.

We all knew there were romantic ties between Megan and Tory and the feud started over jealousy issues, but it turns out that it was Megan that Kelsey Harris had a crush on, not her boyfriend Lanez. 

However, it really depends on who you are asking and we should probably use the term “boyfriend” loosely, because Tory insists he and Megan Thee Stallion were never dating.  

Megan Thee Stallion took the stand in court and detailed the night again for the jurors, describing in detail how she was arguing with Tory and got out of the car.  The rapper then apparently shot a stream of bullets at her feet and yelled out “Dance Bitch!” 

According to Meg after she realized she was shot in the foot she got back in the car and they all drove off, they were pulled over by police a few minutes later and detained.  Initially Megan Thee Stallion did not cooperate with police, however she came forward a few weeks later and shared her story, which resulted in Tory’s arrest.

This week Kelsey Harris took the stand, and either completely cracked under pressure or was paid by someone to conveniently forget everything that happened that night.  Harris invoked her Fifth Amendment right while on the stand, admitted she had lied in her initial testimony, and also couldn’t recall most of the night because she was under the influence. 

If Harris’ was trying to help Tory Lanez by backtracking, her mission will most likely be a failure, because with Megan’s testimony the case will probably be a slam dunk for prosecutors.
