The star of “The Kardashians” Kendall Jenner is on the receiving end of her customers’ backlash over the cost of her 818 tequila drinks which are very pricey but don’t taste so great.

Her customers are angry that for a drink that costs that much, its taste is not worth the price.
The outburst happened on Friday, September 15, after Kendall hosted a meet and greet with her fans at the Total Wine Spirits & More store in Westbury, New York.
The event which was a success had Kendall rocking a white sleeveless top and black trousers while she took pictures with her fans holding bottles of 818 tequila drinks.

“Australia’s 7 News” reported that the 27-year-old’s tequila drinks cost $100 and above depending on the brand. Following the price update, a fan took to snapshot of two different 818 tequila drinks with their prices and criticized it.

The post had pictures of the 818 Tequila Reposado sold at $110, and the 818 Tequila Anejo sold at #120. The critic explained that despite the high price, the drink isn’t “that great to buy.”
The post didn’t waste time in drawing more critics to the comments section with one saying, “It’s not a good tequila. Genuinely.”
Another critic wrote, “It’s also an overpriced bad quality tequila. Tequila should not taste like vanilla extract,” and a third asked, “Sure, it might not taste bad but does it taste $110 good?” A fourth opined, “Objectively it’s not great. A lounge near me had it as the tequila in one of the cocktails, and the drink got sent back too many times. That aside, this is far too expensive for a bottle of tequila of this quality.”
A fifth chimed: “I enjoyed it as a sipping tequila on ice. But it’s not worth the money for sure. There’s stuff equally as good for less money.”

Kendall Jenner — On 818 Tequila Taste Taste
Critics of Kendall’s 818 tequila drink might be right when they say the taste isn’t worth the price. This is because Kendall’s 818 tequila once ranked last in a tequila taste test competition against two other tequila brands.
The brand which was launched in May 2021, underwent a competitive taste test in March 2022 against actor George Clooney’s Casamigos, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Teremana.
In the competition, The U.S. Sun reported that “Six BuzzFeed writers participated in the taste testing of celebrity-owned alcohol brands.”
However, all six of the tequila judges unanimously agreed that Kendall’s brand is nothing to write home about. They even went so far as saying the product was “Un-drinkable.”
