Kendall Jenner Reveals Her Holiday Meltdown Over Christmas Ornaments

Kendall Jenner, like the rest of us, has one of those fond Christmas memories that might not exactly start out as quite fun. In fact, if we’re to be honest, some of these memories are more than just not fun, they’re nightmares.

And Kendall knows exactly what that feels like because she has had a lived experience. Here’s what she has to say about her Christmas surprise.

When it comes to holiday decorating, you will find the Kardashian-Jenner‘s at the top of the list of people who do not joke with it.

Kendall Jenner’s house is lit for the holidays, and she made sure to let the world know by inviting Architectural Digest over to capture her beautiful decorations.

“This I could get emotional talking about,” the model, 29, says in the new holiday-themed house tour for Architectural Digest, “My mom’s had these since before I was born. I thought she had given them to another sister of mine — which, I will not name names — and I got really sad and had a breakdown to her.”

Happily, it turned out to be a confusion, so peace and prosperity was later restored. “She actually didn’t give them to her and then this year, surprised me,” she said.

The cherished ornaments, which Kendall revealed she “grew up with for 29 years of my life,” include blown-glass log cabins, Santas and snowmen. The beautiful ornaments were neatly packaged inside a vintage box placed at the tree’s base.

Touching on the things that inspire her when she’s decorating, she revealed, “I’m always looking for vintage inspiration. Martha Stewart has been big on my mood boards this year.”

The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star worked with Jeff Leatham, who she lovingly refers to as “the Christmas angel,” to turn her home into a festive wonderland.

There’s a lot that brings joy to Kendall as regards her decorating style, like the fireplace ready to crackle during the holiday season.

Her secret to the decorations’ vintage feel? “Most of the decorations in this house… they’re all from my mom. They’re all hand-me-downs. So, pretty much all of my Christmas decorations and things in the house are things I grew up with.”
