Following a recent episode of “The Kardashians” which aired on Thursday, July 13, in which Khloe shared that when it comes to her niece Dream Kardashian, she sees herself as more of a third parent, fans didn’t waste time to conclude that what Khloe meant by her statement was that Blac Chyna is mostly absent in Dream’s life.
Taking to her Instagram story on July 13, Khloe explained that her comment was “taken out of context or twisted to be something it’s not,” by social media users.
In her post she wrote, “I love ALL of my nieces and nephews more than I can express. Dream and I are particularly close. My brother and I are extremely close. I am with Dream all the time because I‘m with my brother all of the time.”
Speaking on the wrong narrative that Rob and Chyna might be absentee parents, Khloe said, “It takes a village to raise a child” while noting how proud she is to “have a family that can lean on one another.”
The 39-year-old shared that both Dream’s parents are “doing the best” they can “as a parent and in life.” She also added, “I am doing the best I can as a parent and in life. We are ALL trying to do our best in life. Our children are healthy and happy! Most of all they are LOVED!! LOVED by everyone in our tribe.”
To the trolls, Khloe left a peaceful message to them saying, “I’m sure the narrative of ‘The Kardashians VS Chyna’ is more fun to read about but there really is nothing there anymore. We all want to move on from the negativity.”
“The focus is on Dream and her happiness and making sure she feels unconditional love at her mommy’s house, her daddy’s house and any family members house for that matter. Please stop pinning us against one another.”
Khloe Kardashian — Here’s Why Khloe Thinks She’s One Of Dream’s Parents
As mentioned earlier by Khloe, Rob and Khloe are so close that they go above and beyond for each other. Ever since Rob and Chyna broke up three months after the birth of Dream in 2016, Khloe has been helping Rob in raising Dream whenever he calls for it.
In the latest episode, Khloe took time to plan Dream’s 6-year-old butterfly-themed birthday party from scratch, and Scott Disick who co-parents kids Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, with ex Kourtney Kardashian, tried to compliment Khloe for a job well done by saying, “It’s amazing.”
Scott was so impressed that he told Khloe that she did great despite “everything you’ve got going on.” He said that while referencing Khloe’s busy schedule and how she has her hands full with taking care of her own children but still did a great job with Dream’s birthday bash.

Scott went on to say, “I just can’t believe that you’re basically somewhat of a co-parent to Dream.” That comment prompted Khloe to say she’s “Just a third parent” to her niece. She further said, explaining what she meant, Khloe said with a laugh, “The third wheel—like most things in life.”
Scott who isn’t satisfied with Khloe’s answer said, “You’re not the third wheel. You’re like the wheel that makes the car move.”
Meanwhile, in a confessional, the Good American mogul said, “Dream is like one of my babies too, just like all the rest of them.” She also shared, “I absolutely love being a mom to people, I love mothering people. It’s so in my blood just to be a mom. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
