Twitter fans don’t take kindly to the idea of buying someone else’s old clothes. Especially when the seller benefits from getting those clothes for free from posh designers in the first place. As a result, Khloe got slammed for her attempt to profit by selling the contents of her closet.

But give Kardashian bonus points for putting a cute spin on her sales pitch. First, she enlisted her daughter True. And second, she and her daughter beamed. But for the melt-that-heart finish, Khloe called it a “mother daughter shopping day 💕. Just added pieces to both mine and True’s closets. Shop now 💖.”

However, the cute part of the pitch got ruined by the swimwear. Because as some fans noted, either Khloe lost so much weight that her bathing suit couldn’t stay on. Or Kardashian had misjudged what size she wears. And in between the trolls about her ill-fitting attire, some of Khloe’s followers got annoyed about the cost.

In an era where so many lost their jobs, their homes, and their health to the pandemic, the Kardashian family happily flaunts their latest designer bags and spends millions on private planes and parties. As a result, followers wonder why the famous family fails to use some of their money for philanthropy rather than selfish reasons. 

And Khloe’s decision to sell her used clothes sparked a backlash. For instance, one Twitter critic responded, “If you donate the clothes to charity, it might help some families that can’t afford milk and bread during the inflation.” Others suggested that if Khloe wants to help, she could at least reduce the price of the clothes for children.

For example, the Kardashian and Jenner re-sale site, called Kardashian Kloset, charges $75 for a child’s t-shirt, according to the Sun. Feel that your kid would love some pink tennis shoes? You can get a pair that a Kardashian or Jenner kid once wore for $250. And a child’s size Fendi jeans got featured at just under $500. However, thus far, the Kardashian family does not try to justify selling their used clothes for such high prices.
