Khloe Kardashian Scared To Pose Nude For PETA Shoot

Khloe Kardashian has always been vocal about her body image. She once revealed during the reunion of their first reality tv show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” that she had always been confident with her looks until she joined the show.

According to Khloe, after joining “KUWITK” people made her aware of how she truly was, “I was so confident and secure before the show. That’s when I became hard on myself because I was like, ‘Oh, this is how other people perceived me,'” and that made her insecure about her body.

For someone who was once plus-sized, she found it difficult to believe in herself. Things changed after she was asked to model nude for PETA shoot.

Khloe Kardashian — How Khloe Was Asked To Pose Naked For PETA Shoot

In a recently resurfaced clip from “KUWTK” released by E! News, Khloe and her eldest sister Kourtney could be seen in a hospital as Khloe apparently wanted to undergo a procedure to reduce her body fat.

Kourtney was shown holding a pamphlet that has the title “Velashape: treat your body to a smoother, sexier figure” on it. Few seconds later, they were met by Dr. Shalini Kapoor Groover, MD. Speaking in a private confessional, Kourtney shared how Khloe always struggled with her body image.

Kourtney went on to explain how people always compared Khloe to her two older sisters Kourtney, and Kim. She explained how people call Khloe names like “fat Kardashian,” “beast,” “ugly m***f**” etc., and that she (Kourtney) has always tried her best to support Khloe and encourage Khloe to ignore the comments.

In another scene, Khloe can be seen reading out from her laptop to Kourtney, and Kim some hateful words written about her by a blogger, when suddenly she received a call from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), inviting her to their office.

During her visit to PETA office, Khloe was asked to star for the company’s campaign, “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign. At first, Khloe refused their offer on the grounds that she’s not a “supermodel,” but changed her mind after PETA Manager Michelle showed her several graphic videos of how furs are made from animals.

In her private confessional, Khloe said that after seeing the heart-wrenching animal videos, she decided to never wear fur again. A different scene featured Khloe in the poolside of her family house, discussing with her bff “Malika” and sorting her opinion about going naked on a billboard.

Deciding that the PETA cause is so much more than her personal fears, Khloe went for the shoot. On the day of Khloe’s PETA shoots, Khloe brought Malika and Kim with her for support.

But then, when it was time for Khloe to drop her robe and pose nude, she suddenly said, “I don’t wanna do this anymore.” Both the photographer, Kim, and Malika tried to convince Khloe to drop her robe but Khloe walked out on everyone present at the shoot because she felt insecure about her body.

It took Kim telling Khloe that she has once posed naked in the past for “Playboy Magazine,” to be able to convince Khloe to strip and take the shoot. When the photo came out, Khloe looked gorgeous.

In her confessional, Khloe admitted, “I’m really, really happy that I decided to do this campaign. Even though my body is not like Eva Mendes’ or these other beautiful people, I have to be comfortable in my own skin.”

She also added, “I cannot always want something else, it’s just, I’m never gonna have it. I need to learn to love myself and I feel like through this shoot I really did, I do think I’m beautiful.”
