Kid Rock Is Done Boycotting Bud Light Since They Got The Message

Kid Rock is sure he’s made his point and there’s no further need to continue down the trail of his famous Bud Light boycott.

Though, if you asked me, it wasn’t much of a boycott as he’s claiming it is. He was, if you remember, caught drinking the famous alcoholic drink weeks after claiming “boycott.” In this case, I’m thinking it’s the thought that counts, right?

Kid Rock Claims Bud Light “Deserved A Black Eye” For Partnering With Transgender Dylan Mulvaney

Kid Rock is officially off the warpath against Bud Light for now. The musician first declared a state of emergency when the beer brand partnered with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney for an ad.

Kid Rock Is Done Boycotting Bud Light Since They “Got The Message”

However, in a recent interview on Tucker Carlson’s X show, he called off the boycott, claiming the Anheuser-Busch brand has gotten the message. “They deserved a black eye, and they got one,”

Rock, 52, told Carlson in the Dec. 11 interview. “Do I want to hold their head under water and drown them because they made a mistake? No, I think they got the message.”

The “mistake” Bud Light made was when they shared a sponsored video to promote Bud Light’s March Madness contest. The ad undoubtedly had its share of backlash as conservative politicians and celebrities spoke against it.

While everyone shared their opinions on the partnership, no one made theirs more clear than the country rock musician, who, in April, filmed himself shooting up three cases of beer with an assault rifle. He also called for a nationwide boycott.

“Hopefully, other companies get it too, but you know, at the end of the day, I don’t think the punishment that they’ve been getting at this point fits the crime,” Rock said during the interview. “I would like to see people get us back on board and become bigger because that’s the America that I want to live in.”

SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Condems Kid Rock’s “Transphobic Rant”

Following the conservative backlash and Rock’s extreme reaction, Howard Stern famously asked the musician to explain why he’s so triggered by the partnership.

“I wish I could call Kid Rock and have him come on the show and just tell me: ‘Why are you so upset about this? How is it hurtful?’ I don’t know why he got so upset,” he said on The Howard Stern Show. “Kid Rock, I know him. He’s got a great life. He transitioned from some kid in Michigan to a rock superstar! I’m really dumbfounded by why someone would care so much that they would blow up a can of Bud Light and say: ‘F*** Anheuser-Busch.’ I don’t get it.”
