Kim Kardashian Addresses Her Makeup-Free Video Posted By North On TikTok

Had enough, Kim Kardashian? The “SKKN By Kim” mogul is speaking out after her 10-year-old’s video of her without makeup on TikTok sparked reaction from both fans and trolls.

First of all, it’s well known that the Kardashians are always called out for sharing overly edited photos of themselves with the public.

Kardashian’s Don’t Show Their Makeup-Free Faces

It is also not unusual for the Kardashians to share their makeup-free faces from time to time on social media, but critics seem to think that it has never been so.

That can only explain why North shared a video of her and her mom on their joint TikTok account, and in the video, Kim’s fresh face created the assumption that North shared the video without her consent.

Critics’ standing point was that North exposed her mother’s bare face without bothering to edit out her wrinkles or splash some color on it. Well, the 43-year-old thinks the reaction is rather “ridiculous” given that she has appeared bare-faced multiple times on TikTok with her daughter.

The beauty mogul told “Bustle” in an interview that the comments about her looks don’t faze her one bit, “If you notice, all the TikToks are me without makeup. North has to get everything approved by me. The TikTok is on my phone. So, it’s like, all the pictures are taken on my phone. It’s not like anything’s posted without my permission. I just think sometimes it’s like, who cares?”

She went on to share that most times, when filming their reality series “The Kardashians” she walks around bare-faced, therefore, “I find it just kind of ridiculous,” she admits. “It’s like, ‘Oh my God, she has no makeup.’ I post photos with no makeup all the time. It’s kind of like when I do a photo shoot, I always let the photographer just [do their thing]. I love working with different people, even if it’s not exactly what I would do. I like to see other people’s vision of me.”

She continued, “So North loves doing TikToks and social media really early in the morning and sometimes really late at night and I have no makeup on. And she’s always like, ‘Mom, come on, let’s just do it.’ And why not? What am I going to do, ruin the experience because I want to go get some makeup on? It’s kind of ridiculous.”
