But the divorce seemed to be something that could not be stepped around, and according to a few sources, it was due to Kanye’s erratic presidential bid and the money he spent running that tipped the balance, though those reports are yet to be confirmed by any of the interested parties.

Despite the pressures of life under the constant scrutiny of the media and that of their KUWTK show, which they both willingly basked in, they were always both so supportive of the other and were excited and glad when big things happened for their better half.

Kim has always been so publicly compassionate and understanding of her husband through his bipolar disorder and manic episodes. It was on February 19 that things came to a head, as Kim Kardashian, 40, made headlines when she filed for divorce from Kanye West, 43. HollywoodLife recently gained access to the documents she signed.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the split in the divorce papers, which is attached below, as well as requesting joint custody for their four children North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm who is getting on to two years. Both physical and legal custody were included in the request, which meant that the former couple will co-parent their children on a regular basis.

The divorce documents were filed almost three months ahead of what would have been their 7-year wedding anniversary. Their marriage has been filled with on and off divorce rumors at different times, mostly in the past year, and though it became official on February 19, the two have been living separately for months.
