Even though Halloween was last week, Kim Kardashian channeled Marilyn Monroe once again. She first got flak for wearing Marilyn’s iconic dress at the 2022 Met Gala.

Kim slipped into the dress that the icon wore when she serenaded President John F. Kennedy on his birthday. The Hulu star could barely fit into the dress, but she made it work.

On Saturday, November 4, Kim attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles. Kim wore a hot pink strapless gown by Balenciaga with black elbow-length gloves. She styled her trademark black hair in a high ponytail.

She also accessorized with a diamond necklace. The Kardashians spoilers suggest that she’s still obsessed with Marilyn Monroe. Kim obviously wanted to pay tribute to her iconic film, Gentleman Prefer Blondes.

Kim Kardashian posted a series of photos on her Instagram feed. Many of her fans got the Marilyn Monroe vibes from her look. Instead of wearing hot pink gloves, Kim opted for black instead.

According to The Kardashians spoilers, Kim Kardashian got backlash once again on Reddit. Most of them didn’t like the look of her gloves.

They argued that she should’ve at least committed to the look. “This would’ve been a better MET look than her attempt at Marilyn,” one fan wrote. “I wish she had earrings. Not massive ones. Just simple ones,” another user noted.

A third user chimed in, writing: “The gloves make the outfit look tacky.” A fourth agreed: “It kind of looks like a Halloween costume with the poor fit and cheap-looking fabric.” Kim Kardashian couldn’t get the look right. Her stylist failed her when paying homage to this iconic moment.
