But the TikTok tantrum seemed to fade… until now. This week, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” (KUWTK) star defied the rapper by teaming up with North for an “emo girl” goth TikTok! Find out how Kim seemingly risked the wrath of Kanye with her social media antics. Keep up with Kim and Kanye below.
Kim Kardashian IGNORES Kanye West’s Wishes For North!
Kanye West repeatedly has criticized his estranged wife Kim Kardashian over how she parents their children Psalm, Chicago, Saint, and North West. For instance, the rapper, 44, vented repeatedly on Instagram about the reality TV star, 41, letting North show off on TikTok. But now Kim has chosen to ignore her ex’s views, defying him by joining North in a new “emo girls” goth TikTok, reported Page Six.
Keeping it all in the Kardashian family, Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope Disick joined North and Kim for the TikTok performance. And the trio united in their goth look for their “Emo Girl” TikTok performance. Penelope, Kim, and North sported dark eye makeup and black lipstick for the full-on goth effect.
But the mom, daughter, and niece didn’t need to look far to get production help. Kourtney’s future husband, Travis Barker, stepped up to produce the TikTok video set to “Emo Girl” by Willow and Machine Gun Kelly. And all three females clearly enjoyed themselves lip-syncing to the words. Kim opted for a full-on goth outfit in all-black. But her daughter North and niece Penelope, both 8, stayed with a more casual style in tiny white t-shirts.
Kim Kardashian Claps Back At Kanye West Over Daughter North
Kanye West has slammed Kim Kardashian on social media repeatedly about letting their daughter North “put on TikTok against my will.” But now Kim’s decision to let North return to TikTok seems to signal a sea change in her strategy. And Kardashian previously hinted at such a change.
“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” the star of the upcoming Hulu show “The Kardashians“ wrote in a recent Instagram Story. And that story, posted just before the new goth TikTok with North and Penelope, showed Kim’s willingness to defy her ex. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter,” pointed out Kardashian.
“[But I also am] allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness.” Given the defiance that Kim just exhibited, some assumed that Kardashian will criticize West in the new Hulu show. But the reality TV star denied those assumptions.
Kim Kardashian Still Loves Kanye West!
In recent months, Kanye West has attacked not just Kim Kardashian but her boyfriend Pete Davidson on social media, in interviews, and even via an ominous music video. But despite that, Kim shared she will not criticize her ex on the upcoming Hulu show, “The Kardashians.” As a result of his role as father of their kids, the reality TV star wants to keep their disagreements private.
“I don’t think I would ever criticize the father of my children on my TV show,” summed up Kim. “Being in the public eye and having disagreements publicly is never easy. But I do believe in handling it all privately. I believe in championing publicly and criticizing privately.”
Looking ahead, Kardashian believes that she, her four kids, and Kanye will continue to form a family. As a result, “we always will have a love and respect for each other. And even if there’s moments where it might not seem like that, there are so many moments that are super positive,” she added. “I do think it’s important for people to see that things aren’t perfect all the time. But… they can get better.”
