At the time, she celebrated with a post calling for people to not give up on their dreams matter how many times they’ve failed.

Having previously helped incarcerated people commute their sentences, Kim wants to continue to help more people in the future, and she’s looking forward to achieving this by owning her own law firm.

Kim, 41, said that nothing about the Law career field was “handed” to her. She revealed that she previously failed three times in the last two years, but always got back up each time and studied harder before she actually got to pass the baby bar exam in December.

In explaining her preparation for the test, Kim said: “The experience taught me so much and I’ve never worked so hard on something in my life, I had to be really diligent about studying and dedicated every spare minute I had to it. I’m very passionate about Criminal Justice Reform and I want to advocate for those who I feel were wrongfully convicted.”
