Kim Kardashian Gets $200K A Month Child Support In Kanye West Divorce Settlement

Kim Kardashian – Receives $200K Monthly In Child Support

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finally achieved a divorce settlement. And in the process, Kim and Kanye agreed on child support funds, child custody, and issues related to their property. For instance, the arrangement calls for joint custody. And each former spouse will receive the same access to the four kids, reported TMZ.

However, despite the emphasis on equal access in the paperwork, insiders spilled on the contradictions. Because the sources claim that Kardashian will mainly take charge of the children. And even West has admitted that his ex-wife manages their children 80 percent of the time.

But what got the most attention stems from Kanye’s agreement to pay Kim $200,000 a month in child support. Some social media critics thought the sum seemed outrageous. However, insiders explained that West will not pay the full bill for child support. And that sum represents his share. As a result, the settlement stipulates that Kanye pay the full $200k on the first day of every month, wiring it into Kim’s account.

Although the amount of monthly child support got all the social media attention, the divorce settlement also finalized other issues for Kim’s and Kanye’s four children. For instance, West will pay half of the kids’ educational fees, such as tuition. And he also must take responsibility for half of the children’s security expenses.

Evidence of that settlement just came. Kanye picked up his oldest daughter North West from school on Tuesday. And he took her to a mall. West waited outside her school with security. And security also accompanied the dad and daughter to the mall.

One interesting aspect of the divorce settlement relates to future arguments over the children. If Kim and Kanye get into a disagreement over the kids, they will head to mediation. But if either doesn’t show up, the other can make the decision. 

However, the backlash from social media focused on questioning the child support amount. For instance, one critic wrote, “A BILLIONAIRE getting 200k a month when she doesn’t need any money??? The System is rigged against men 🤦🏼‍♂️.” But others pointed to the fact that Kim likely will remain mostly responsible for the children. For example, another critic commented, “I love how after complaining he never gets to see his kids he told them he’s completely fine with Kim having the kids 80% of the time.”
