The recent episode of “The Kardashians” season 4, featured how Kim Kardashian who shares son Saint West with ex-husband Kanye West, 46, took Saint, 7, and a few of his friends to Paris for a soccer game between Paris Saint-Germain and Rennes.

While everything seemed fine, some comments made by the SKIMS mogul didn’t sit well with both fans and critics.
It happened that while Kim and the kids were seated at the back of a taxi, she made a call with her phone, and in the conversation, Kim was heard saying, “The boys are having the best time.
Playing soccer in the hallways and they’re having so much fun. David Beckham sent them jerseys. They’re living it up.”
The conversation didn’t end there as she went on to grab her son’s hand and while still on the phone, said, “I wish my boy thought that I’m the coolest mom ever.” Without warning, Kim, 43, turned to Saint’s friends and asked, “Do you guys think I’m the coolest mom ever?” and some noded.
Kim then continued, “Riley does, Dylan does.” But a kid said his mom is the best to him. The comment made Kim say, “Oh your mom is the coolest mom ever. I’m happy being second to your mom, guys.” Well, Kim somehow found herself on blast over that comment.

Kim Kardashian — Reaction From Critics Over Kim’s Comments
A critic took to Reddit to share the scene while pouring out how Kim’s words were disrespectful to other parents. The post was captioned, “Something I cannot shake from recent episode.” The poster then went into the comments section to write, “Of course there are much more profound displays of idocracy in this season, but one stood out to me in particular and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.”
The poster also added, “It is so nefarious of Kim to take her son and his friends on this soccer world tour then prime the kids with leading phrases like ‘aren’t I the best mom ever?!’
If I were one of the other child’s mothers I would feel so disrespected. She kept emphasizing the point encouraging the other kids to say she was the best mom. Pretty gross behavior.

Someone else commented, “I’ve been thinking about this too. That whole scene made me cringe. I’m glad all the kids said their moms, Kim probably felt so stupid after that.” Another person wrote, “Narc moms love to do that. ‘See? Everybody loves me, everybody says I’m a great mom.’ Literally emotionally manipulating a child so they grow up unsure and conflicted about how they’re treated.”
A fourth commenter said, “Kim is so desperate she might as well try to have kids gas her up. It’s pathetic,” and the fifth person agreed, “Well if she can’t get her idolization from 20-50-year-old men anymore, she has to go after the 7-year-olds.”
