It looks like she’s got her eyes on a smooth one here. There are new reports that suggest Kim Kardashian might be looking to date Usher after she and the chart topper were spotted flirting with one another at the MET Gala back in May. Here’s what you need to know.

As many fans already know, Kim has dealt with a lot of heartache these last several years. Her marriage to Kanye West broke down in dramatic fashion and her relationship with Pete Davidson didn’t make it past the one year point.

That might be one of the reasons why she’s now looking to date someone completely new like Usher. She was apparently flirting with him all night at the MET Gala.

One source close to the situation says that Kim didn’t even try to hide the fact that she was flirting with Usher, even when the photographers came around. But, another source said that all of the flirting was “totally harmless and that one conversation’s getting blown out of proportion.”

If Kim really wants to date Usher, she has a major problem on her hands. That’s because Usher currently has a girlfriend. “Usher swears there’s nothing between him and Kim,” the insider, adding, “You can’t blame Jenn for being suspicious. No woman wants to feel she’s competing with Kim Kardashian.”

Meanwhile, the reality television star recently admitted all of the qualities that she looks for in her ideal man.

What’s Next For Kim Kardashian?

While on the season premiere of Hulu’s The Karddashians, Kim said that the number one thing she looks for is a man who knows how to protect her.

She said, “Number two, fight for me. Number three, good hygiene. I mean, that’s a given. I think I should even take that off. Calm, no mom or dad issues, patient, supportive, genuinely happy for me, successful and good teeth.”
