Kim Kardashian, Julia Fox, And Janet Jackson Kick Off New York Fashion Week 2022 In See-Through Frocks, Tutu, And Hairstyle Drama!

Kim Kardashian adores New York Fashion Week (NYFW), always seeking an ensemble to show off her style. And for 2022, the star of Hulu’s The Kardashians outdid herself. First, Kim opted for an unusual hairstyle. And second, Kardashian went for a see-through frock.

NYFW 2022 – Kim Kardashian Stuns In See-Through Dress

Kim Kardashian has become known for baring it all in her Instagram photos. And for New York Fashion Week 2022, the reality TV diva continued that theme. A totally see-through dress helped Kim steal the fashion spotlight as the week kicked off, noted the Sun.

The 41-year-old mom of Psalm, Chicago, Saint, and North West turned heads at the Fendi fashion show in New York City. And although Kim’s BFF LaLa Anthony accompanied her, Kardashian’s dramatic style choices kept all eyes on her. For instance, Kim pulled her hair back in such a tight bun that some fans dubbed it greasy. And others questioned the fact that her brown roots showed through her dyed blond tresses. 

However, some observers worried that Kim seemed even thinner in that sheer frock. But that didn’t stop fans from praising the dress. For instance, one fan gushed, “I love that dress.” But Kardashian’s bun won no praise. And as one observer noted, “The hair sucks. But yeah the dress is gorgeous.”

Others tried to analyze how Kim achieved that look. “At first glance, I thought the hair was a half up half down situation,” commented one critic. “But it’s really just a half bun that I do when I’m lazy around the house.” And another summed up the hairstyle drama as a “bun gone wrong!”

However, Kim had to fight for the New York Fashion Week celebrity spotlight this year. For instance, Kanye West’s ex girlfriend Julia Fox stepped out in her own version of a see-through dress. But Julia’s hair fell flat in terms of getting praise. In contrast, Janet Jackson opted for a long tutu style, complete with an elegant hairstyle.

However, Janet Jackson won applause during her appearance at NYFW. She received the Icon Of The Year award at Lincoln Center. And despite her perfect style, Janet told the crowd that she had just flown in from London for the honor, noted Page Six. Dressed by celebrity stylist Wouri Vice, Jackson enjoyed partying later that day. 

But Julia Fox proved her own talents as fashionista. And Kanye’s ex girlfriend headed to David Rabin’s American Bar to show off her special style. Long, loose hair contrasted with Kim’s tightly pulled back hair. And Fox opted for a different version of a see-through frock, relying on barely there straps to keep her dress on.
