Kim Kardashian Makes Daughter North Look Like Her Dad Kanye West!

Kim Kardashian has earned a reputation for shocking her social media followers. For instance, the reality TV star often goes nearly naked for Instagram pics. And she also sometimes sparks a backlash for going too far in editing her pics to look fit and fab.

But this time, Kim created a controversy over her daughter North. And fans reacted with a range of emotions to see North looking like her father Kanye West. Add in music, and Kim turned her joint TikTok with North into a trending video. Get all the details below.

Kim Kardashian – Dresses Daughter North To Resemble Kanye West

North West, at 9, runs a TikTok account with her famous mom Kim Kardashian. And with help from Kim, North resembled her father Kanye West in a new music video. Special effects makeup, a knit cap, and pulled-back hair made the daughter look like she decided to channel her father, pointed out People.

And while Kardashian donned chrome sunglasses, leather pants, and a black tank top for the video, North opted for a hoodie. Her mom, 42, even helped her appear to wear a goatee like her dad once sported. However, music played a role in the video, with the phrase “Bound Baby” at the bottom of the screen. 

The newest video follows Kim’s and North’s previous channel uploads. But this one sparked the biggest backlash for featuring the 9-year-old wearing so much makeup in an effort to look like her dad. And Kanye himself has slammed allowing his daughter to use TikTok so freely.

Both in interviews and on social media, Kanye attacked the concept of North going on TikTok without his permission. However, he also set a rule for the future. And he insisted to an interviewer, “My children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.”

But then West headed to Instagram. And he requested his followers to advise him. Because Kim divorcing him represented his first such experience, Kanye asked fans to help him. “THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE,” noted West in his all-capital letters post. “I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?” asked the rapper.

However, Kim has shared her own thoughts on the issue. And she insisted that she limits how much their oldest daughter can use TikTok. But Kardashian also called her ex-husband’s comments more painful than any video that North might dream up. And Kim shared that she does her best to balance between encouraging creativity for her daughter and protecting her.

“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” asserted Kim. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter.” And she added that as a mom, she wants to help North “express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision. Because it brings her happiness,” Kardashian concluded.
