The “Saturday Night Live” comedian will star in the upcoming horror-thriller film, “The Home,” reported the New York Post.Headed up by “The Purge” director James DeMonaco, “The Home” will get produced by Miramax’s Bill Block and Sébastien K. Lemercier.

DeMonaco and Adam Canto will write the horror thriller movie. Producer Block expressed enthusiasm for the plot and cast. “We’re excited to be backing DeMonaco’s brilliant vision,” stated the producer.

Looking at the success of DeMoncaco’s previous horror films, Block pointed out that the director’s horror-thriller “Purge” franchise has taken in more than $450 million at the worldwide box office. “With his masterful storytelling abilities and Pete [Davidson’s]s versatility as an actor, this film will put audiences everywhere on the edge of their seats.”

Insiders told Page Six that Davidson’s reps have talked with producers about the Oscars show’s goals. Seeking a revamped look, the Oscars sees Pete, 28, as a way to attract younger viewers. In addition to his headline-making romance with Kim Kardashian, Pete scored high ratings during a New Year’s special.

“He gets a demographic that is hard to get,” noted one source. “He is in a good space, his career is doing well and he is on the rise. He is a sex symbol, unlikely. But he is big with a certain generation.”

Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian may seem like an odd couple matching. But the “Saturday Night Live” comedian says he knows why he appeals to so many women. “My love language, when I’m in a relationship, is I treat the person I’m with like a princess,” explained Pete. “Try and go as above and beyond as possible, because that’s what you’re supposed to do. If you’re in a relationship with someone, you’re just supposed to make that person feel as special as possible.”

And in addition to that sweet philosophy, Davidson has earned a reputation as a genuinely nice guy. The “Saturday Night Live” comedian stays close to his widowed mother, Amy. And Pete also remains loyal to friends, whether in or out of show business. Apparently that formula of nice guy plus treating women like a princess has worked its magic on Kim Kardashian!
