Kim Kardashian seems to send mixed messages with her shoe choice. Amid recent reports that Kim feels furious over her estranged husband Kanye West’s recent antics, Kardashian stepped out in West’s very own Yeezy brand shoes! And the rapper’s soon to be ex wife didn’t step there. 

Pete Davidson, reportedly enjoying a blossoming romance with Kim, also seems to appreciate Kanye’s Yeezy shoes. The “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) comedian sparked rumors that he sported Yeezy sneakers as well. Catch up on the shoe scandal below!

Recently, the 41-year-old mother of North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm got spotted sporting grey and black Ye-designed sneakers. And Kardashian’s followers took note. Kim got slammed for choosing to still wear Kanye West’s Yeezy shoe collections. 

But Kardashian apparently learned from her mistake. In a new Instagram pic, Kim looks pretty in pink. Holding her fingers in the shape of a peace sign, Kardashian ensures that her new Nike sneaker choice gets the spotlight. And as one fan wrote, “Air Max 95s!”

But even as Kim got mocked for wearing Kanye West’s Yeezy shoes, her boyfriend Pete Davidson didn’t get away without facing his own backlash. Some fans suspected Pete sporting Yeezy sneakers as well, reported the Sun. And for evidence, they pointed to Davidson’s footprints in the sand on the couple’s recent Bahamas vacation. “Beach Party,” tweeted Kim.

Kardashian might have hoped fans would focus on her curvy body in that teeny tiny bikini. But Twitter focused on the footprints by Kim. For instance, one shoe mark looked like Kanye Wests Yeezy brand shoes. And that got interpreted as meaning Pete Davidson, 28, rocked that brand on his vacation with West’s 41-year-old estranged wife.

Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband has not yet responded to Pete and Kim sporting his shoes. But Kanye did spark rumors about a possible new shoe brand. And that conversation involved some major names, per Sole Savy.

Kanye West spent some time with DJ Khaled  recently. And in response, Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan and Trophy Room founder including Jordan Brand collaborators, responded, “Let’s make THAT convo happen.” West then followed up with some clues including the Jumpman logo and a repeat of Marcus’ message. 

Those hints led to collaboration rumors. After leaving Nike in 2013, Kanye joined Adidas in 2016. And the rapper has praised Nike as well as boosted about his Yeezy line.
