But one of them reportedly now regrets the split. As a result, insiders questioned whether their supposed “just friends” status is true, revealed an insider via OK magazine.

“They do still talk a lot, they are good friends and laugh a lot,” shared the source. And the insider hinted that Davidson wishes they could rekindle their romance. For instance, the source shared that Pete keeps “holding in there.” And he told Kim “that he would jump on a plane at a moment’s notice for her.”

But that sense of spontaneity doesn’t go both ways. And the insider shared that Kim feels her life has become “too messy now.” As a result, Kardashian “doesn’t want anything serious.” But the source also shared that the reality TV star texts Pete “all the time!”

But although Davidson reportedly still hopes to rekindle the romance, Kim doesn’t feel ready. As a result, Kardashian “doesn’t want to string him along,” explained the insider. And Kim worries that giving Pete hope of a renewed romance would seem unfair. “She doesn’t want to do that and give him hope there’s a chance when she knows there’s not,” added the source.

But previous rumors claimed that the star of Hulu’s The Kardashians spent time with the Saturday Night Live alum in New York City recently. And one insider described the alleged hookup. “Pete visited Kim at her room,” claimed the source. “And the next day Kim was seen sneaking out a back entrance of the hotel in a disguise and hopped in a waiting Escalade to visit Pete on Staten Island.”

However, Kim currently faces a struggle to stay low profile. Because she wants to protect her four children, Kardashian must figure out how to cope with the aftermath of her estranged husband Kanye West’s horrifying anti-Semitic scandal. In response, Kim issued a statement against West for his offensive comments. “Hate speech is never OK or excusable,” the reality TV star shared. “I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end.”
